Works not bad, it was buggy at first but I used the main remote to navigate to the main menu and the phone worked well from there

I use the app more than Apples official one since it is much cleaner ,and only controls the TV

Kills your battery. My battery on my i6 lasts only a few hours with a full charge.

When I go to settings-->general-->Remotes on the ATV the ciderTv doesnt show up as described in app. Im on an ATV2 with older iOS. Does it need a specific version?

I lost my Apple TV remote so I downloaded this and it worked great, ez set up and about a week later, it stopped working. Then it would work if I unplugged my entire Apple TV box and deleted/downloaded the app all over again. I was doing this for weeks and was about to delete the app and say f*ck it. Then the last update arrived and I gave that a shot. Now not only am I having the same issues, I also have to enter a 4 digit code so my Apple TV recognizes the app EACH time I want to try out the app. Really lame..

OMG I thought it wouldnt work but the app is awesome. Saved my life.

Absolutely awful. Barely works. Actually picks up the Apple TV unit only a fraction of the time. I have reinstalled this garbage at least 4 times. Unfortunately its the only Apple TV "remote" available in the App Store.

You should make a button that turns the Apple TV on and off and make the controls look like the Apple TV remote

It is a great app but it is unable to turn your Apple TV on. If they add this feature it would be then perfect remote app

Basically the Apple TV remote app is just broken. Disconnect after your phone sleeps then you have to restart the app for it to work. Incredibly frustrating. This app would be great if a few features were added that the origin app has, something as basic as a "play" functioning button rather than tapping into multiple layers of titles just to play a show/movie.

Once I launched the app and followed the directions to pair phone, the app could not find my phone. I restarted both the app and the AppleTV and it was able to establish connection.

Really well designed app and works pretty well with Apple TV, only problem is that it sometimes has trouble connecting to the Apple TV when the device is off. You sometimes have to use the remote than it works. Otherwise pretty solid app!

Since the app support website is poor, and I cant figure out how to get the volume control to work... Just another bad AppleTV remote app
