Updates: looks like the battery issue was fixed. Hands down this is the best Apple TV remote out there. I can resume from suspended Apple TV and navigate effortlessly. Kills your battery. My battery on my i6 lasts only a few hours with a full charge.

Cider TV is the missing piece for the Remote app for Apple TV. I have used it for 24 hours and it has functioned flawlessly on an an iPhone 6 Plus running 9.3.2 with an Apple TV 3rd gen.

Still wont pair even after installing update that supposedly fixed it

About 5 minutes ago I needed to pause a show and Netflix, but I didnt know where the remote was at that particular moment. But instead of trying to find it I just slid down the Notification Center and used the widget. Couldnt have worked better. This app is freaking amazing, and you should be charging for it!

Awesome widget to quickly control your apple tv. Minor latency which is not noticeable at all. Replaces the remote app completely. Keyboard support as well and apple tv 4 support.

I tried and tried to setup and use the Apple TV Remote app that is recommended by Apple. For some reason, I could not get the Apple remote app to sync and work properly. After months of trying, I finally gave up and found the Cider TV app. I havent looked back since! Very happy with Cider TV! Thanks!

You just dont get the same functionality out of the boring remote app. Control multiple devices and do it In style. This is the best app to control your Apple TV hands down!

Now instead of looking everywhere for the remote and if u dont find it o wont be able to watch the show I wanted I could just use this app and all my problems are solved. Now I am able to enjoy what ever show at anytime

Like how I can control multiple Apple tvs with just my phone. Works as expected and great for those times that your too lazy to get the remote and you have your phone next to you.
